I've been back for over a month now. It was relatively easy to get back into the swing of things and go back to the fast pace city life. I thought I would continue to take cold showers but I had forgotten how great a nice hot shower feels. It felt great to be back home and see my family and friends but I was sad to leave when I did.

Yesterday was the first day we had the students from the local primary school, EP Primary B, come in for ICT classes. I was a bit nervous for the first class to come in, I didn't know what to expect or how it would go.

He may be small and furry but I jump and scream every time I see him. He greeted Ryan into the kitchen by jumping on his shoulder but since then he has moved into the living room. I have not extended an invitation to my bedroom yet, I'm not ready to take that step. My friend needs a name, any suggestions?

Note to self: Don't bring a rolly bag to Africa, they're not made for dirt roads.

January 19, 2009 Day 1 Ryan picked me up at the airport last night with Lydia, our wild Ghanian friend, and a friend of theirs, Emmanuel, who drove us to our guest house for my sleep no. 1 in Ghana.
